Terms of Service
Welcome to Redwood Health Center. By booking a session or visiting our spa, you agree to the following terms.
Booking and Cancellation
- All sessions are by appointment.
- We ask for at least 4 hours' notice for cancellation or rescheduling.
- Same-day cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a service charge equal to the cost of the session. We are flexible for genuine emergencies — please call as soon as you know.
Pricing and Payment
- Posted prices are final. There are no hidden fees, package surcharges, or out-of-area pricing.
- Payment is due at the time of service. We accept major credit cards and cash.
- Gratuity is voluntary and at your discretion.
- Couples sessions are billed per person at the standard service rate.
- Gift certificates do not expire.
Service Standards
- All of our therapists are licensed.
- Sessions run the full booked time on the table.
- You may adjust pressure, request modifications, or end the session at any time.
- You may decline any technique or area of work — we will respect your boundaries.
Health and Medical
- Massage is not a substitute for medical treatment. If you have a medical condition, please consult your physician.
- You must inform us of any health conditions, recent injuries, or medications that may affect your session.
- We reserve the right to decline or modify a session if we believe it is not safe or appropriate.
Code of Conduct
- Our spa is a safe, professional space for therapeutic massage.
- Inappropriate behavior of any kind will result in immediate termination of the session and full charge for the booked time.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason consistent with applicable law.
Liability
Massage carries inherent risks (rare but possible). By booking a session you accept these risks and agree that Redwood Health Center, its owners, and its therapists are not liable for any injury or adverse reaction not caused by gross negligence on our part.
Updates
We may update these terms occasionally. The current version will always be posted on our website with the "Last updated" date.
